Mind Traumas....

Luci Shail, Kerala's leading royal blogging dog lady, is very upset, and trying to face it bravely all on her own. Her "Mom" who is also her constant companion along with the camera, is across the seas, on a visit, and Luci wants her to return soon.

But like her cousin Bozo in Mumbai, she thinks a lot, and reasons out things for herself.

Being  so young, she is not so good at hiding her emotions yet..... but she is learning!

Sometimes
a Queen is a prisoner
of her mind.

Bereft,
searching for someone,
is bad.

What is worse,
is some birds
who keep posing
on wires and trees,
and
who keep reminding me of
how i disapprove and
hover around as she clicks.

They say a son is never yours
and the daughter is yours
for life;
here,
she's gone away to her son,
and the daughter
even though otherwise
a Queen,
pines away,
waiting,
behind the mind bars.....

Bozo's Secret .....

Bozo, is still at his holiday home with friends, as his folks are travelling, and they send him photos of folks they meet . Sometimes, from some dog shows that they attended in Birmingham, UK.

Sometimes spiffy looking  fellows in earth colors, sometimes jet black, all brushed and groomed as if they were meeting the Queen; and sometimes a British beauty like this, with the latest in hair and makeup, not to mention wisps of hair strategically styled around the face, just so.

Bozo sees these pictures, and politely applauds.  What he actually thinks is something else....

from our
yearly Miss India pageant
where fellows
stand no chance
whatsoever.

I see that
my folks have been
attending beauty pageants
in Birmingham,
and sending me
photos,
of some smashing folks,
both male and female.

Saw a few last week,
and now
this amazing beauty
with the latest
streaked glossy hairstyle
and
coffeured hair,
not to mention
the heavily kohled eyes.......

I beg your pardon,
I am a
bit old fashioned,
that way,
and I still root
for my dear friend
Luci of Thiruvananthapuram ....

All these Birmingham folks
are not a patch
on her......

The Secret of her Dental Beauty.....

There is a new generation of blogger dogs who interact these days. Bozo from Mumbai, Luci from Thhiruananthapuram, and Coco from Bengaluru, to just mention a few. 

Bozo and Coco are the chivalrous types,  and often look out for Luci , when she is up to , what everyone thinks, are her willful antics, like chewing up all kinds of stuff that catches her fancy.

Here is Luci, clicked by Shail Mohan , as  she shows of her brilliant teeth.

No drilling, no fillings, no root canal, no crowns or bridges, no gum surgeries.

Just an honest-to goodness hard chewing , more than 32 times, of whatever she feels like !

Till they found out the secret.

Energetic chewing of cushions
by the incisors
causing them to be
brushed with a lot of foam;
tearing of
the meek chappals
by the gunda canines
on the sides,
and mashing it all
chewing
and spitting
it all out
along with electric bills
bringing a spark to the teeth.

Alas,
someone came too close
with the spectacles,
and they got chewed off too....

So many of my blogging and FB friends have dogs that blog. Luci from Thiruvanantapuram, and Bozo from Bandra,Mumbai being the two leading folks.

 Luci recently put up some amazing photos , that looked like formal portraits on her blog and FB. Possibly to celebrate a new Nikon. In something peculiar to the Indian ethos, these photos of Luci reminded me of the formal photos that people put up on matrimonial database sites, that are so popular today.

And naturally , one thought of Bozo .   See Luci below in the upper set of 3 photos and Bozo, in the set below .

I don't have a pet dog, but sometimes, I think I must have been a dog in my last birth.  :-))

inadvertently
hitting "Next"
with his paw,
when he chanced upon
this
homeloving,
beautiful,
sporty,
strong,
wilful,
clever,
royal beauty
with soulful eyes
and amazing spirit.

"Wow"
he said,
"She is on FB
and also has a Dog Blog !"

Whereupon,
he barkmailed her,
their folks got in touch,
and may meet.

He just wonders,
whether
he should present her
with his
favourite blue collar
at the first meeting .....
